Why I do this work
Thomas didn't start out planning to become a financial advisor. Like a lot of people, he came to this work after watching how much confusion — and how many missed opportunities — families run into when insurance, investments, and real estate are all handled by different people who never talk to each other.
Early in his career, Thomas saw firsthand how a single well-timed conversation about coverage, or a retirement account left on autopilot for too long, could change the entire trajectory of a family's finances — for better or worse. That gap between what people needed to know and what they were actually being told became the reason True North Financial Group exists.
Since then, Thomas has built his practice around a simple idea: clients deserve to understand their own financial plan, not just sign where they're told. He works alongside World Financial Group (WFG) as an independent, licensed representative, which means he isn't limited to a single company's products — he can shop across carriers to find the right fit for each client's situation.
